Average But Overpriced Resort

Me along with my parents stayed here for 2 nights. Firstly, it’s an average yet overpriced resort. The food quality is not at all good. We tried both Indian & Oriental dishes. Both are equally disappointing. The rooms don’t have intercom. You have to use your cellphone for every service request. The air conditioning machine doesn’t have a remote or control panel. You have to go out & turn on/off the main switch behind the room. I read many good reviews about Mr Santosh. But I found him completely misleading. While booking I asked him about the safari options. He told me it’s chargeable as ₹3000/- per vehicle. The actual cost is ₹2700/- as per locals. Secondly there is scanter for safari which He Didn’t tell us. Now , we needed to be dropped ar Jabalpur. He bluntly asked for ₹4000/- for the car while the local travel agent charges us ₹3000/- and he offered Toyota Etios . People traveling to this region, please book Motel Chandan Or Vanya Resort which are next to the entry gate... Only good factor in this resort was Mr Hemraj. He is available day & night attending all your requests with a smile & personal care

It situated only 200 meters from Kanha main gate entry for safari place is quite and food is also good and cheap given the remote area we are in. there room rates are also reasonable whether I stay in my next i will say yes to it

Hotel is very near to the park. They will happily arrange gypsy for you. We book this hotel in very cheap rate according to the facilities we got there. We have booked non AC room, but don't know why they provide us AC room. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Food is also good and cheap. Must stay in this property again in our next tour to Kanha.

All credit goes to Santosh. He will help you in every possible way. U can call him anytime. He will make sure to arrange everything. Best time to visit is from October. We visited in September. Most of the hotels are closed at that time. So is the park.

The windsor tiger resort is a very nice place just 800 meters fron kanha gate. The manager here, santos, is a very nice man allways ready to help and advice. Dont book your staying here via booking (1000 inr) or other, just come and ask for best price. 500-700 inr.
